An intense smokey flavour paired with a sweet citrus burst. High in anti-oxidants and protein.
Blackened Fish with Mango Salsa
Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
- 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Salsa:
- 1 avocado cubed
- 1/2 mango cubed
- 10 cherry tomatoes finely diced
- 1 handful of coriander
- 1 red chilli finely diced
- 1 lime – juice of
- salt
- pepper
- 2 pieces of white fish seabass, basa, pollock
Instructions
- Add a drizzle of olive to the fish and the seasoning and gently rub into the fish. Leave to Marinade for a as long as possible. Fry/air fry for 10 mins or bake for 15 mins.
- Combine all salsa ingredients and set aside.
- Serve with rice, salads & some greens (always).
